The Buffalo Bandits wheelchair lacrosse team has begun its 2019 campaign, it’s third full season, with practices at The Healthy Zone Rink in East Aurora, New York.

Adam Page, the three-time Paralympic sled hockey gold medalist with Team USA, and founder of Greater Buffalo Adaptive Sports (GBAS - formerly The Sled Hockey Foundation), started the Bandits wheelchair lacrosse team to provide great recreational fitness for sled hockey athletes during the off-season summer months.

Adam’s Bandits are sponsored by the professional lacrosse team of the same name.  Since 2016, the wheelchair lacrosse team has been growing and solidifying its roster and working to compete with the best teams in the country.

Greater Buffalo Adaptive Sports is happy to be growing its collaboration with The Healthy Zone Rink and plans both wheelchair lacrosse and sled hockey events at the venue in the coming months.
