Mission: To identify and support organizations in Western New York which share our core objectives: serving children and military personnel, caring for the sick, assisting physically and mentally challenged athletes, and supporting youth hockey initiatives. By utilizing financial resources and community influence, the Buffalo Sabres Foundation assists these organizations and their beneficiaries in realizing their highest potential and succeeding in their endeavors.
The Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo is a 501(c)(3) public charity holding more than 800 different charitable funds, large and small, established by individuals, families, nonprofit organizations and businesses to benefit Western New York. Since 1919, we have been a link between those who want to give and those people and organizations who have needs in Western New York. We help clients identify options for giving and carry out their wishes. Year after year, the partners who make up the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo come together to make a difference. With your help, we will continue to empower Generosity for Generations, looking to the future but never forgetting the forward-thinking individuals who have brought us to this very moment. Our approach to giving continues to grow and evolve over time.
